“I am very proud of the effort put in by Marvin Johnson, our R&D Manager, and Randy Beckett, our plant manager. Having seen more cellulose insulation plants than I can remember, this facility takes the entire cellulose insulation manufacturing process to the next level. The direction to the team was ‘Build the best so we can offer the best!” and these guys did it. This is a perfect example of our long-term commitment to the growth of our company and the cellulose insulation industry,” says Terry Applegate, President & CEO.

Our Company Position: Applegate Insulation has been in business since 1978 and we have seen it all – significant changes in federal and state regulations, hundreds of plant closures, competitors come and go, and at least 3 recessions. Instead of closing plants during this latest downturn like some of our competitors have done, we will continue to take the contrarian view by:

  • Constantly upgrading our facilities, equipment, and processes
  • Developing new products and formulations
  • Hiring the best personnel
  • Expanding beyond our six locations

Why do we take this view? It has taken us to #2 in our industry. We were confident in 1978 and are only more so now. Cellulose insulation is here to stay and so is Applegate Insulation.
